I am a multi-degreed researcher and writer. I am over seventy years old enough to know better, but the inner child still rules. After a career of hard work in heavy construction, moving oil refineries, and moving manufacturing plants, I shifted gears to the less strenuous pursuits of writing.
I self-promote as a bon-vivant, pseudo intellectual border-line expert, and raconteur fueled with years of unique situations, some adventures, and outrageous experiences that I incorporate in my writings. With time spent traveling in West Africa, parts of Europe and all over North America providing experiences from industrial services to mining and African gold smuggling, there are plenty of observations and experiences I incorporate in my writing.
My general tenet for writing is simple; "People want comedy back again; people need to laugh freely and openly again at what is funny; and, people need to be allowed to determine what is funny for themselves again!" Consequently, I tend to shape stories with non-sequitur components woven together with creativity and extreme lapses of judgement.
Through pseudo intellectual, and borderline "mentat" abilities, I have combined learned disciplines of science with those of comedy to shape a framework for an intuitive universe suitable for storytelling that brings science fiction and fact together.
For the Ice Hookers from Uranus project I combined some of my experiences with disciplines of science, disbelief and comedy to shape a framework for an intuitive universe suitable for storytelling with full suspension of dis-belief.
